Cottonwood Cove - New Hot Tub

Literally the worst stay I've had in years anywhere. Worse than a low cost motel. The place was dirty, damaged, and had numerous issues ranging from electrical to filth. There was full trash bags tucked in random corners, beverage splatter on numerous walls, love stains on the linens, open beer cans in various places, broken doors, tears on the furnishings, windows that had broken handles and could not open or close, used eating utensils mixed in with clean linens - this list could go on. Do not bring a trailer or anything larger than an unmodified truck as you will never fit it in the parking available. The host was defensive about the issues and tried to get off with a $50 refund on a $600 trash hole that was more of a party or frat house rather than being at all suitable for two families. The host went as far as telling us to stop harassing them when raising legitimate concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The electrical doesn't work when the light switches are off either.

We had a nice time at this location. It is walking distance from some nice restaurants and great for ski access. My only wish is that there weren’t such a strict HOA regulation on hot tub hours (8am-10pm), seems crazy that you can’t enjoy a peaceful morning soak before 8am. Drew was great with communication and we had a comfortable stay. We appreciate this space being available.
